    You woke up in a daze you felt like something wasn't right. You rose out of bed like a zombie and stood still half asleep. When you looked at the clock it read 6:45. Shock took you over as you realized that you had 5 min. to get ready for school. So you rushed around gathering everything almost forgetting your homework that was half-assed at 11 at night. You ran out the door just catching the bus where you took your usual seat next to Feliciano. Sipping on your drink you dazed off as he went on and on about chocolate pasta or something weird like that. You almost fell asleep until he mentioned Valentines day. 'I completely forgot ... SHIT!' you thought. When your facial expression changed Feli looked worried

"Is something the matter _____?" he asked.

"No just fine." you fibbed. This was an important day for you it was the only day you could give people heart shaped candies and no one would be suspicious.And it was also the day you made your first friend.

    It was a beautiful day you were out picking flowers for your family. "One for mommy and daddy and sister and doggie." you said picking the individual flowers. The day was perfect a slight breeze blew you (h/c) hair as you felt the sun on you face. It was a very warm day compared to that of a normal February day. Then a loud bang from your front door was heard along with screaming and cussing. It was all so frightening but you gathered the courage to take a look at what was happening. You saw your mom dash out the front door and you could hear your sister weeping inside. Your mom walked past you and to the car then left. You entered the house and saw your sister and dad weeping on the couch.

"Where is mommy going?" you ask. All your dad could say was

"Away" because he was crying so heavily. You ran out of the house down the street and tried to find your mom. She was nowhere insight. Your legs wobbled and then collapsed you broke into tears. A shadow loomed over you

"Mommy?" you asked as you lifted your head to see a boy with dirty blond hair with a cowlick off the top, and bright blue eyes.

"No I'm not your mommy." he laughed. You turned away and continued to sob.

"Why are you crying?" the boy asked. You told him the story and his bright blue eyes dimmed and started to blur with tears. You looked at him confused to see that kind of reaction. He looked at you and smiled

"I'll be your hero then!" he yelled. This made you giggle a bit and he chuckled as well. "My names Alfred. Whats yours?" he asked.

"________." you said.

"Well ________how about we go get an ice-cream." Alfred said.

"Sure" you replied.
